I compared my measurements to the sizing chart and fell right in line with the size 6. It arrived true to the chart and fits perfectly. Like other reviewers, I am impressed with the built in coverage. The back-strap and weight of the dress really make me feel like this will remain securely in place. I gave 4 stars because, as other reviewers have already said, it does arrive with threads that need to be sewn down and/or trimmed off. I'll be having a minor adjustment to the organza hem (personally feel it is too long below the satin hem line without any detail) so the tailor can look to securing the threads and applique edges that I want stitched down at the same time- otherwise I could probably do it myself. I have more time than I thought I would to have this adjustment done professionally since it took no where near as long as I anticipated for the dress to arrive. I bought this in ivory and purchased the short sleeve tulle and lace jacket also in ivory to go with it (http://www.weddingdressesgood.com). The pair is fantastic together. You can't see it well in the jacket picture, but it has the same bead details as are on the dress appliques. The lace flowers aren't an exact match, but definitely close enough that I will be the only one to notice. Similar threads issue with the jacket.Thanks, weddingdressesgood.com! By Rana - Posted on 2/15/13I ordered gown WSM0490 from you and the gown is exquisit!I paid the small extra fee to have the gown made to my measurements and it fits like a glove.I will not have to have any alterations done to it.The gown is for a renewal ceremony for our 32nd anniversary and before anyone chimes in that you can't wear a wedding dress with a train for a renewal ceremony let me say that if there is anyone out there who wants to pay for the ceremony I will wear what they want, otherwise I will wear the gown I fell in love with.Your workmanship is beyond fantistic.A much higher quality than I expected for the price.The only complaint I have is that the pictures on your site do not show the true beauty of the gownthe exqusite beauty of the beading and design do no really show well. The gown has extensive beading and lace.Those of us who are of a larger size or are older will appreciate the modesty along with the beauty of the gown.By the way my daughter, who is the only one who has seen it, says it is beautiful on me.I can't wait to wear it as I walk down the aisle to the man I still love!

The bottom of the dress was cut crookedly against the grain and it made the dress curve up. I had to have it hemmed up as well as the organza which required alot of time and work. On the whole though after the alterations I LOVED MY DRESS!!!!!!!!I would defintely recommend always measuring and sending in measurements as my dress was a bit big for me on the general sizes.Thank you our website for my beautiful dress that was defintely worth the money!!!! :)

We will be getting Married December 7th, 2010.The Dress is gorgeous! much better than the picture on the website. I did goof and order it in Ivory, because others said it was very close to the white but I probably should have ordered it in white as my daughters dress (which was ordered from a different company) is white, so I will have to get her something else. I ordered it custom measured and I can say it is definitely worth the extra fee!! There was a few loose beads and some stray threads but nothing that would be impossible to fix with a little thread and some scissors. All in all I am extremely pleased with my order and my dress and will definitely order from this site again in the future!

We will be getting Married December 7th, 2010.The Dress is gorgeous! much better than the picture on the website. I did goof and order it in Ivory, because others said it was very close to the white but I probably should have ordered it in white as my daughters dress (which was ordered from a different company) is white, so I will have to get her something else. I ordered it custom measured and I can say it is definitely worth the extra fee!! There was a few loose beads and some stray threads but nothing that would be impossible to fix with a little thread and some scissors. All in all I am extremely pleased with my order and my dress and will definitely order from this site again in the future!

This dress helped without anything extra. Love that! My husband loved it of course. I had a vegas wedding so it was so easy to travel, could stay in it all day. The dress was simple and elegant. Loved it!
